Clemson & FSU fans often complain that their teams have been expected to carry the weight of ACC football throughout the years with little or no help (at least, until Va Tech came along!). Ironic, since the same can be said of UNC & Duke basketball...

But take courage, your NCAA tournament toils are not in vain! Someone gave me the idea to look at the 4 new teams coming over from the Big East in terms of conference records over the past few years, so I did. While UConn seems to get most of the hype, the top 3 teams in terms of Big East win% (men's basketball) over the past 4 years are:

1. Syracuse Orange

2. Louisville Cardinals

3. Pittsburgh Panthers

Marquette is 4th, followed by another ACC newbie, Notre Dame (#5).

The UConn Huskies? 9th.

Here's hoping for an all current + future ACC Final Four!
